Beautiful orchard. I'll definitely be back. Great apples, pears, and well cared for trees. Prices are great too. Loved it.
Lauren Baciulis
Best apples and cherries in the area! Glad to let well-behaved kids into their orchards.
Garth Mathe
Great apples at a fraction of a fraction of grocery store prices. Trees are well maintained and easy to pick from. Nothing better than to spend some time outside on a nice fall day and have something to show for it. Apple pie a la mode tonight too!
Jeffrey Huber
Had a great time. Owners were nice

Hi, Beverly. We've been picking Concord grapes for maybe a week now and will continue as long as they hold on the vine. Google is a cumbersome way to stay up to date with harvest schedules. We keep a recorded message on our business line at 814-347-5233. Give it a call any time you're curious.. it's chock-full of helpful information.
We're picking both Concord and Niagara grapes and expect them to be in season for 2+ weeks depending on weather and number of pickers.
Great question. We have two apple orchards where we host u-pick. We don't allow driving between rows, but our barn orchard has parking around the perimeter. Here you're parked within 20 feet of where picking begins. Our far orchard has parking along the road and a central driveway. The walk is a bit longer for a few of our apple varieties, but still less than 200 feet or so.
Hi, James. We'll begin picking Redhaven peaches August 10, 2022. We expect the season to come and go quickly. For all the details, call our business line at 814-347-5233 to hear our recorded message. It's chock-full of relevant information.
Hi, Gerald. We'll begin u-pick Redhaven peaches Wednesday, August 10. We expect the season to come and go quickly as peaches are in high demand. Call our business line at 814-347-5233 to hear our recorded message, chock-full of relevant information.
Hi, Trisha. Our 2021 cherry season will start Saturday, June 26. I suggest calling our business line at 814-347-5233 to hear all the details.
Yes, (as of this note, Sept 22, 2020), we are picking McIntosh now. With our proximity to the lake many other varieties are yet to start. We encourage all visitors, new and returning, to call our business line at 814 347 5233 to hear our recorded message before making a drive to the farm. This is a more efficient way to stay up to date with the progression of our season.
Hi, Ken. We grow primarily Concord and Niagara grapes. We also have Steuben available for u-pick. Our 2020 grape harvest season will begin at the end of September. Give our business line a quick call before making a drive to the farm to hear all the details.
Great question! I don't personally grow Sun High, but I believe Cresthaven would be a local comparative variety. Large-ish in size, free-stone, yellow flesh, firm and juicy. Definitely a good choice to freeze, but a little on the large size for canning unless you plan to slice. The Cresthaven usually ripen at the very end of August (the rains may push them a little sooner this year). The best way to keep up with what is ripe is to follow our Facebook business page or call our recorded message at 8143475233. (I'm not on the computer often).
Hi, Tom. We are expecting to be open for sweet cherries the weekend of July 4. We have yet to choose an opening day as we're watching how quickly the cherries ripen. The best way to stay up to speed with our status is by calling our business line at (8140725-1519. I update the message their frequently while we're preparing to open and when we are in-season.
No elderberries. Tree fruit and grapes as listed.
Hi, Dan. Our sweet cherries are now sold out. We are finishing our Montmerency sour cherries and tomorrow, July 12, will be our final picking day. We plan to be open from 9am- 4pm (pickers must be finished in the orchard and weighing out by 4). Pickers will need to use ladders as the remaining berries are scattered and high in the trees. We'll be hopeful for a longer harvest season in 2020.
We're hoping to start sweet cherries this coming Thursday, July 4 2019. The crop is very touchy this year with the challenging weather. The later varieties set heavier crops and look nicer, but are ripening slowly. Please know that the biggest determinate is weather which we have no control over. I recommend checking back with us by calling our business line at (814)725-1519 before making the drive to North East. Thanks for your interest.
We will begin our 2021 cherry season Saturday, June 26. I recommend calling our business line at 814-347-5233 to hear all the details.
I heard it was peaches, but they leave fruit season messages on their answering machine. They have a Facebook for updates also.
Yes
Hi, Cheryl. Sorry for the delayed response... I've been living in a barn. If you haven't made it out to pick, know that we are still picking this week. With the cool down in temperature and humidity we may even make it to the weekend of July 14 and 15.
Hi, Beth. Our cherries are ripening slowly this year. Spring was late to arrive and the crop load is large. We're hoping for cherries on the 4th, but they may be late. The best way to get up to date crop info, is to call our business line at (814) 725-1519. I keep a recorded message and will continue updating as we move closer to opening. Hope to see you in July.
