Our current mortgage is through Geddes (we used a broker, did not go through Geddes directly). We took a home equity loan out last spring and decided to use Geddes since they were holding our primary mortgage. This was the worst financing experience we have ever had. There was no followup by bank personnel to keep the loan process moving forward, I am assuming there is no commission because the finance representative couldn't have put less effort in to help us. We had to contantly keep her moving things forward with emails and calls. At the time I blamed COVID for the lack of customer service shown by this bank, but I had dealt with other financial institutions during that time and received expectional customer service. Last week we called and left a message requesting tax information that we never received and have not received a call back. I fear the lack of customer service shown by this bank is normal and part of their cultural. Senior leadership at the institution should consider sending surveys to their customers so that they can get a true sense of the failures that are occuring with regards to customer service, lack of follow up, disinterest shown by their employees, etc. Unless, of course, this culture is acceptable to the leadership. If you have a choice, I would avoid Geddes Federal.

The best company I've ever worked for, by far. Everyone gets along n works well together. The President (Brian Dumond), all the "Board Directors", along with all the other employees strive to get to know every member and each coworker on a personal level.
