Positive: Hot tub was great. Staff was friendly, no issues w/ the room, just what I needed for a good night's sleep after partying w/ a relative the night before. Negative: Used to be a 3 star, maybe still is on features, but it's a little run down now that it's not a Holiday Inn anymore. They need to repave the back parking lot. It seemed VERY empty. A complimentary breakfast buffet would be nice, prices are high for AM.

Im satisfied! Conveniently off the freeway when coming from Padre Island. Room was not bad, lobby was really nice. Front desk staff were excellent. Provided late-check out, extra shampoo/towels/whatever we needed.

Hands down the worst IHG hotel I've ever stayed in. Place was covered in mold and had a very musty smell. Room was gross. Light fixtures were sticky and dirty. Bathroom had a serious mold problem due to poor ventilation. Mold in the mirror, on the floor where missing tiles were. Bed had no protective cover between the sheets and mattress. Sheets on bed were yellow and had a horrible musty smell like they weren't cleaned or dried. After an exhausting day of travel I was extremely let down as a Spire Elite member. I fortunately won't be staying at this hotel again, for my continuous trips to Corpus Christi.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at this hotel with the IHG membership (more than $100 per night per room before taxes), we almost wanted to leave after staying 1 night. The rooms were dirty, water spots were on the bed frames, the floor with carpets were extremely dirty (our feet turn black after walking on the carpet for a little bit, so as a mother with 3 kids actively running, I had to put down those towels on the floor to walk on), the bathrooms had no venting fans so it was very humid after taking a shower, the ceilings had some water damaged spots, the tv didn’t work, there were 1 available electrical plug that we used to charge our 2 phones, 3 iPads and used the coffee machine with, the room had the fading musty smell, my husband told me that he saw some white bugs but he didn’t notify me at that time and didn’t take any picture but I asked him to look at the bed bugs pictures and he said it looked similar (we are still not sure, but I am freaking out now and thinking to burn all the clothes that we had with us). My oldest son who is 14 yo were up all night on the second night because he was itching. Please do not stay at this place, if you want your vacation to be fun and comfortable.
