Love this place. Even when river was low the staff found us a great place to float and enjoy our trip to glenrose.

First time going, but it was so fun. A little rough at first, but definitely a great way to enjoy the outdoors with friends!!

Unfortunately, we didn’t rent from Rhodes. We rented from a different establishment. When we accidentally went past our exit mark, they told us to go seven more miles down the river before they could pick us up and charge us more money. Brent, with Rhodes, said he was happy to help our family. He had almost a full bus, but he gave us a ride anyway and he and his comrade offered to take our canoe back for us. We offered him money, he wouldn’t take it. He said he was just treating people how we deserved to be treated. Needless to say when we head back to river this summer we will be renting with Rhodes!

Rental for tubing was very unorganized. New family members are running the business. The vans that are used to run people back and forth did not have usable seatbelts. There are two places you could get off the river, one was a short run of about 2 hours and the long run was about 4 hours. It was late afternoon when we went so we were to do the short run so we would not get caught out on the river at night. We were given VERY vague instructions on where we were supposed get off the river to be picked up. There was questions on if the sign was white with blue letters or yellow with blue letters. The person giving us these instructions tacked on at the end, "at least that was the way it was 2 years ago". Needless to say, we missed the the first exit because of the signage, without realizing it. It was not very prominent with an arrow pointing down stream posted by two large private property signs. Which was what ended up being the major problem of the whole fiasco. We entered the river at 4 PM and exited the river at 10 PM. We were not the only ones who missed the exit and not the only ones who did not understand the instructions given for when to get off the river. We called 911 around 8:30 PM, who then connected us to the rental company for additional instructions to the 2nd exit. The other group that we ran into, who had the phone that we used to call 911, was also lost and had 6 young children and 4 adults. After additional instructions from the rental company, we traveled another 45 minutes down the river in the dark. Campers at the campground where the rental company picks up tubers were the ones who had their lights out that guided us to safety. If it had not been for the CAMPERS we would not have known were to go. My family has decided to never go tubing again because of this experience. I strongly suggest if you do go then leave early and to pack a survival kit, just in case.

15$/person. Basically allows for river access.
Yes you can. There is no minimum age. I personally wouldnt recommend it even with the proper gear.
Probably. Def get doggy vest. Call them tho
No. But I would definitely follow their page on FB to see if they are open or letting people float due to the cfs release from Lake Granbury. Or call.
