I wish the website would post that the mansion is fenched off completely around the house and that it's under going what appears a total renovation. Painting, plastering of the exterior stucco, window shutters removed, windows boarded, stone walls being rebuilt and two man lifts. It was nearly impossible photographing the house since all the clutter was everywhere. I suppose once the work is done the house will look fabulous. I couldn't get any type of time frame when the work would be finished. The gardens were very nice with excellent views of the Catskills to the west across the Hudson.

House was closed but the ground and gardens are well maintained and the walking trail provides various view points to the river and the main house

Nice walking trails. Would be great to xcountry ski on. Attended a talk "all my boyfriends are dead", which was very interesting and well done!
