Some things are better unsaid. If you like them then I’m glad you’ve had good experiences with them. If you have had issues with them then you already know what I’m thinking. I don’t see things here getting better but maybe I’m wrong. I won’t ever go back there. That’s all I have to say.

Arborvitae for trees, fast growing and evergreen would be my first choice. Privet hedge is another option but requires clipping for shape and size. Jeff at Earl May will be a wealth of experienced information for you.

Thank you for the question. Plants in the willow family produce what is called “catkins” in the early spring. From these catkins come small flowers. They usually come and go quickly and are not grown for this aspect. It is a nice sign of spring when it happens because willow trees leaf out earlier than many other trees.
