I’ve been to several rehab facilities and never have anything stick. I spent 30 days at McCambridge and when I tell you it was life altering, I mean it. I’ve been sober for a little over 2 years now! The tools and resources available at this place are just beyond what I could’ve imagined. They helped focus on mental health, substance abuse, recovery & life beyond drugs. I learned so much about myself and my disease through this place. The staff here were all so patient and kind. The doctors and counselors actually listen to you and genuinely care about your success. I owe so many thanks to the ladies at McCambridge.

I recently returned for treatment was singled out by staff and bullied by clients the moment I returned! It got to where I was pushed passed my limits I punched a metal door frame ( no one was hurt and no damage was done) then I was put on suicide watch! On March 7th 2022 I was kicked out they kept the bullies (which also threatened people in and out of class) and also had the cops on stand by! They later told me "it was because I was on suicide watch"! But while they were kicking me out thye said I was a threat to clients and staff there! They prefer bullies over anyone else! I use to think very highly of this place but now don't want anything to do with anyone there!

I really love the staff they are all so helpful and nice I just left there and really miss everyone I enjoyed the structure! I will definitely be suggesting Mccambidge to women with and without kids to go to! However after you graduate and become an outpatient don't you dare talk to anyone except your care team or you will get yelled at! Perfect for inpatient not so Perfect for outpatient

This place changed my daughters life, I cant thank them enough for providing a safe place for women who have taken the wrong path and have decided to seek a better future free of drugs. They were able to help my daughter find sobriety after many years of drug use starting back from a very young age of 14, she is now 26 years old and finally able to be a mother and sister and a daughter again. They also helped her with after care and got her on the right meds to keep her focused on her future. God bless each of you and thank you for caring. Update: My daughter has been clean now for almost 2 years and has a job and is getting ready to be married in July this year. She now is bale to be a mother to her 2 children as well. God bless

I don't know how long ago you posted this, maybe you have found help already. Anyway, McCambridge will take women (plus kids, if any) without insurance if they have a bed empty and no one with insurance to fill it. This facility is for women and children only, and all staff are female. I spent 3 weeks there, and I give it 5 stars. I'm one year sober now!

My nephew requires an inpatient facility. He is 31 years old, male. He is currently in a facility there in Columbia, MO. It was suggested that he go to McCambridge House. Is this the right facility?

What to bring for a 21day treatment

Mccambridge is anywhere from 21-30 day program for women and their children under 12. Bring maybe 5 outfits, shoes, undergarments, shower shoes, medications in their original bottles, alcohol free hair products and oral hygiene products. More information can be provided when scheduling a bed.
