I lived there for several months until recently a rather rotund Peasant woman, decided to turn a nice rv park into a German death camp (some similarities anyway). All I can say run, don’t walk especially if you are a minority.

Route 45

Quiet 55+ RV park. It's not a large park by any means, but many stay seasonally. They offer full hook ups and have public restrooms. The laundry facility was one washer and one dryer. I didn't use them. I would call the park sort of rustic, and that was just fine for us. We stayed five days, and it was close to everything we wanted to see in Lakeland especially being located directly off of hwy 98 and out of high traffic areas. UPDATE: Apparently this review page has been hacked; however possibly use caution if reserving a site there now. There is no reason for owners to suddenly give a 4 star review a nasty reply several years later. We had no problems at all with the owners or campers there, so something is very wrong with the many nasty replies to several 4 star and 5 star reviews!

This used to be a great place until about 9 months ago when the owners son and a big lady who lives out there took control and run it now, all she does is drive around in her cart all day and night to find something to complain about. She sets her own rules for everyone, and gossips about everyone, the water stinks u don’t feel clean when u get out of the shower , the roads are dirt roads so your car stays dirty from people going by and from the highway you are so close to, all u hear all day is traffic and sirens now they are making the rd into a 4 lain so that means traffic is closer to ,The women running loves to evict people, people get kicked out for talking to your neighbors or if u don’t agree with her on something, She has ruined that park and they don’t care, 4 people left before me a 4 are leaving in the next week that’s how bad it is, u pay 5 to 6 hundred a month now, it’s a shame they let her do what she is doing, we live in a great park now And feel like We went from hell to heaven, smartest thing we did was run from that place
