Church's Chicken

Typical churches. Doesn't really care about costumer service. Just making do attitudes. Very upsetting to see when you want churches fried chicken, when you know it can be so.much better! Can't find another churches around in Lakeland! So , this all we can get as a consumer.

That was so good I almost threw away my iPhone. Small but pleasant place, thank goodness there's decent parking because Lakeland doesn't seem to have much parking. The staff was friendly and they - really - make superb food. Total yum!

This particular location has a few good days and many bad days. The last time I purchased from this Church's chicken restaurant will be the last time. I don't know what was wrong but the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese tasted strange. The side food items were not hot, I believe that the food was left outside of refrigeration or proper heating for too long and became spoiled. The chicken had no flavor or seasoning (this is a common occurrence). Half of the batch of biscuits are over-over baked. Things we're better when it was corporate owned, perhaps it is franchise owned again. All in all, the food was nasty, the store building is dilapidated and very dirty. I could do a much better job than current store ownership.

We ordered a three piece fried chicken meal and a chicken sandwich. The chicken was crunchy, hot and flavorful. The breast on the chicken was extremely small however so, it was mostly dark meat which we did not care for. The chicken sandwich was very good, taste similar to the famous Popeye sandwich. The fries were like warm crinkle cut but, were still pretty good. And lastly the honey biscuit were warm.and crunchy and soaked in honey butter. We did like them but I prefer kfc biscuits where you can add your own butter and honey. Overall food was good. The lady at the counter was wonderful and gave great customer service. Would I go back? Maybe, I would choose Popeyes over them anytime.
