Today is the day that I went to work out at Planet Fitness and I got a good workout. Then I went next door to Winn-Dixie Ft Caroline and was in the mood for a good salad and went to get the makings to make me a good Cobb salad and it was very good. This Winn-Dixie Ft Caroline has been renovated recently and it is much brighter and the aisles are bigger and the signage make it much easier to find what you are looking for.

Went to Winn Dixie I am a disabled veteran and the cashier acted as if she was doing me a favor to place my groceries in my buggy. Let alone offering to have someone help me to my truck. I will pay more and go to Publix where they still offer excellent customer service.

The area is not the best, you can certainly tell not much money is put into the upkeep compared to others. Often time you will find homeless people just trying to make it through another day. However, it's not bad or somewhere to avoid.

The places still require masks and social distancing. I can't entirely speak for the cleaning practices at every business, however.
There is a Dollar General and a Dollar Tree on Ft. Caroline road about half mile from University Blvd.
