My question relates to the web site. What happened to the court dockets. Court warrent search?

What a joke. First off I live in another state; so this process is already more difficult to start. My judge tells me to my face that I have until the end of the year to pay my fine. I’m giving NO information on that, a month goes by and I receive a notice in the mail to call the county clerks office for “more information” by a certain date or an issue will be set for a warrant for my arrest. I call, I’m then told I have to pay my ticket in full by a very short date; and that if I do not I will be issued a warrant. I kept all paperwork given to my by the courthouse and there was NO information about a payment due date, or that it was due by a time besides me having to call and ask. The judge had told me i had one year; yet that was not the case. The disorganization of this courthouse is insane and it could really use more organization and provided information to people they want to over-fine.

I had a great experience the numerous times I reached out to the Municipal Court Staff. They were kind, friendly, courteous, and helpful. THANK YOU for doing a great job at your job.

The walk in docket is Monday through Friday 7am to 730 am and you must be within the 1st 20 people here
The municipal courts do not have jurisdiction over divorce, child custody, spousal support, child support or other paternity/family matters. The county district courts handle those in Kansas. So if you live in Sedgwick County, the Sedgwick County District Court - 18th Judicial District- is the correct court to address a divorce matter. I hope this helps. ~Andi

Or hire an attorney to get warrant set aside and take care of case.
You have 14 days to appeal at the sedgewick county court house from the date of plea and finding
You need to call Wichita Municipal Court at 268-4611, and any of our customer Representatives would be happy to help you with that question. Thank you 😁
