Yes, they always have room for camping. There's many places to just pitch a tent. When the sun sets its beautiful every time, and at night when the sky is clear there's billions of stars just waiting for you. You can make a warm fire, eat some smores, and sing camp fire songs. Or curl up in the tent and read your favorite book. The swimming areas are open till sunset. The water isn't too cold but it is refreshing. It has a sandy beach vibe to it, and isn't deep till you get past the booies. So you won't have to work about yourself stepping in the deep end too much. The sand is perfect; not sticky, slippery, or muskie. To me and for my one year old son its perfect.
Not sure Sarah... haven't been there for quite a spell since my husband bacame fully disabled... I do know that just to park anywhere you will need to go to the office there and pay five Dollars...there you can find the answers your looking for..
