This little village was very tidy and well tended to. All the homes were tidy and cute. The Meriwether cafe was cute and the staff was friendly and eager to help. We only bought sodas there but they had a full menu. The lady at the information stop right on the trail was helpful and engaging. Several B&B's right on the trail that looked inviting. A must stop while on the KATY trail.

We camped at Cooper's Landing.

Why is this listed on the hwy. But doesn't tell you if there's camping or not ? As an out of state visitors the sign should clarify no camping available

Suggest you get one of the Katy Trail State Park brochures available at the trail heads and state park offices. They list all services available on the trails.

Is overnight parking allowed in the Katy Trail lot?
