I just want to thank you from saving a dog from the El Dorado Animal Shelter that would’ve been put down tomorrow. He was owner surrendered and it was making me sick that a one year old dog might lose his life. I wasn’t going to let that happen if no one came forward so I appreciate you helping him.

My partner and I adopted a puppy through Purple PAWS in February of 2020 and he has been such a joy in our lives. We then started fostering with PPAWS in March of 2020 and have saved the lives of 18 dogs who were on euthanasia lists in shelters or in bad environments. We also ended up adopting 2 dogs that we were fostering and they have been wonderful additions to our home and family. We are so grateful for Heather, Susan, Nicole, Amanda, Eva, Marina, and a variety of other folks who volunteer in PPAWS and work so hard to save animals. We love the work that PPAWS does and we are so grateful to be part of it.

We are an up and running rescue. No plan in shutting down
If you return a dog that u adopted back to us, you do not get a refund of the adoption fee. But it is also stated in the signed contracts that the dog will have to be returned to us first before seeking out other rehoming options.
We don't vet animals but can refer you to an excellent low cost cat clinic ;)
