Excellent tour history very interesting. One of the historical places that really did a lot for veterans after the WWll . Was turned into a hospital that I believe was rehab and operations. The Castle also held German and Italian prisoners during WWll.

We went the weekend before Halloween. We had Melissa as our tour guide. She was great and patient with our large group. And she made it really fun. Might have caught a ghost? Maybe not but definitely worth the price of admission. Didn’t really care for the Halloween props so will go back when they remove them.

We did the ghost tour and it was fun, more because our kids were so entertained by it. It was not a scary experience though they tell stories of people running out and feeling or hearing things. They play recordings of ghosts that were not heard live. They showed pictures with orbs and some ghostly images that haven't been explained away. The creepiest part is going into the tunnel after hearing stories about the ghost that doesn't like chatty women. If you have amature ghost hunters to entertain, definitely take them.

Yes, either online or at door tickets. Door tickets may not be a guarantee, I believe.
Good luck, hope you are treated nicer than we were!
I think you can do private overnighters
The guides more than happy to fill you in on stories that had happened there
Yes, its in the gift shop area
Yes it was open on labor day
You can do outside
Definitely a sweater, always, just to be on the safe side... Hope you have a wonderful night.
If you go on their website, it has prices. You can also call them. We done the murder mystery dinner which was $43 plus tax per person and the ghost tour was additional $17.30 plus tax per person. It was very much worth the cost. You won't be disappointed.
We were told by the owner, yes. But don't think I heard anything about lodging.
On the website, you can book which tour you want.
I DO NOT believe in those sorts of things however, someone was tugging on the back of my shirt the entire time. I accused my wife and daughter both but they were no where near me. Later a total stranger came up to me and showed me pics she took and white orb was near me the entire time.
It was great! Its been renovated and it's a great place for events.
There is no place to sleep; they do overnights with ghost hunter teams that the public can attend, a stay up all night evenr, these sell out quick.
