all good...writing from room 102 this AM. although a bit distracting due to wide-scale rennovation/construction...the rooms are large and clean, the grounds are maintained, the breakfast was acceptable. secluded/quiet location just off of 77...plenty of gas/convenience locations within a stone's throw. will stay again!

Would not stay here again. Did not realize it was a motel and doors are on the outside, the pictures in the listings and the description do not tell you this! As a woman traveling alone this was uncomfortable, as the place is in a sketchy area. TV remote had no batteries and when I called the front desk she said I had to go there to get them, not great service. No elevators and had to haul my heavy luggage up the stairs. The room smelled musty. Didn’t see any bugs but was itchy the next day. Breakfast had nothing edible. Won’t return, that is for certain.

We booked a couple months in advance paid in full at the time of booking we needed a room for the night on our way home from our vacation in Florida so we booked this place. I drove 12 and a half hours to get to our hotel I had my young kids and girlfriend and mother in law with us and we got there and she tried to say we didn’t have a reservation and then said we did but it was for the next day and then said it was cancelled so we called Expedia to see why it was cancelled and they didn’t cancel it our room was paid for and booked and should have been available to us. Instead they gave our room to someone else and all the hotels anywhere near there were full because of a music festival. So they left us with no where to go 11 hours away from home. We travel quite often and best western won’t get anymore of our money. Thanks for leaving us stranded without a room. Don’t book with them they are not reliable or professional.

Nice and comfortable room. Nice breakfast selection. Staff was very friendly. We especially enjoyed talking with Beth, in the breakfast nook! She epitomized the idea of “Southern Hospitality”, making us feel welcome and making sure we had fresh eggs and sausage available for our breakfast.
