Staff were friendly and efficient. However, it was disconcerting to see a few dozen vehicles idling for 30+ minutes apiece, and no signage anywhere asking people to cut their engines. Presumably the whole point of emissions testing is to limit the negative impact of vehicle emissions on air quality. Given that idling contributes *much* more to smog and poor air quality than driving, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to have dozens of vehicles spewing exhaust in the interest of “improving” air quality.

Never been treated so horribly. They Left my headlights on let in the on position for 40 minutes while trying to get their equipment calibrated and killed my battery. Made my brother and I push our vehicle out of the bay. Extremely rude no one offered is a jump.

No not for emissions. You will when you renew your plates at the clerk and recorder.
Saturday hours are 8am until 1pm
Ahead of me was a car with Wyoming plates and they got their emissions done.
No appointment
I paid $25. Also, if it falls you get a free retest within a certain amount of time.
Your vehicle weight is on your registration. I don't think it can be weighed there. You can call them.
https://www.larimer.org/clerk/vehiclelicensing/registration/emissions always check with the county clerks website regarding specific county questions.

$25 for most vehicles.
Only if your vehicle is a 1981 or older model year. Vehicles model years 1982 and newer require emissions inspection every other year. New vehicles are exempt from inspection for the first 7 model years.
No appt needed. Check their website to see current local wait times!
25 dollars. If you fail, you have the day of to get back in for a retest. My jeep had a bad fuel cap, and they allowed me to leave and replace it, then come back.
