Performance spent 2 days trying to diagnose why our Toyota Celica failed emissions and concluded that we needed a $2,500+ timing chain replacement. They charged us over $350 for this diagnosis. I took our car to Pedersen and in just a couple of hours they diagnosed that they just needed to clean the MAF sensor and the car passed inspection. I will not go to Performance again.

Hi Zach, We are a general repair shop and as such do not really perform aftermarket mods and tuning. We've had our name since opening in 1991; it's come to mean a whole new thing in recent years! You might try Funk-E-Built in Fort Collins or SCR Performance in Loveland. We do not have personal experience with these shops but from their web presence it seems they might be more inclined to offer the services you are looking for. As Scott mentioned, you will want to ensure that any mods you perform keep you emissions-compliant. Thanks, Pat
I don't know about that specific test, but I recently had maintenance performed on my car there -- and the bill was lower than the estimate! I am very pleased with Performance Tune!
