Very bad management.

I would put 0 if I could. Do not stay here. I lived here for 2 years. This is what I got: broken water pipes x 2, resulting in no water for full day. Laundry room flooded into my apartment x 2. Apartment ran hot. I never had to use heat in the water. I kept it on the lowest setting to not freeze the pipes. When I asked them about it they attempted to fix it. They couldn’t so there was nothing they could do. Shower drain clogged x 10. I had to shower at another place 2-3 of those times. I will say they were prompt in getting someone out to fix temporarily fix it. Within 2-3 months of moving in the dishwasher died. They require a 60 day notice of leaving or they charge another month’s rent. I gave a 54 day notice, and they would not make any exceptions despite me leaving there for the reasons already mentioned. They did subtract the security deposit from the fee. Update 6/22: I called the number below and have not heard back from them.
Interestingly Enough
Grossly incompetent, "manager." She doesn't understand the very basic fundamental of the Landlord-Tenant Act. I am unsure how she was hired and still has the job. Take pictures and document everything. They will come after your deposit illegally, and assume you won't challenge them. They did this to me, and they were sorry when I cited the exact Michigan laws that the manager should've known. Whether something is still under warranty, does not dictate your fiscal responsibility as a tenant. Basic stuff, here. They immediately sent me a check for the rest of my deposit once I threatened to take them to court over it. It is easy when you understand your rights more than the manager does. Prior military, here. Six other apartments, no issues, before. Appearantly, it IS her first rodeo. Either document and know your rights, or avoid ignorant indivduals (the manager) that are in charge of your dwelling and save yourself the headache. BTW, they flag bad reviews. So, you are NOT getting the full story. I have seen bad reviews flagged and deleted, inflating their overall rating. Observe yourself and see. Let see how long this one stays up.

Either at Kroger's, the leasing office gives you an access no. Or through a Resident app
In my opinion these are a little pricey but then again what isnt these day. Im paying 834, + renters insurance, but everything is included except electric obviously. I like this place however. No complaints
They aren't income based, and they also won't accept things like disability or social security as income for whatever reason, so you'd have to either have a co-signer or be moving in with someone who can afford the full rent [according to them, so income of around 3x the rent]
