The selection is good, the location is great, and the staff have never been anything but kind, helpful, and respectful to me. I'm a guy who reads a lot of romance novels, and I'm used to getting a weird look or two. It's good to know that I can show up, ask to find the pirate love stories, and be shown exactly what I'm looking for without any judgment. Thanks for everything!

My children love coming to the library. It's been our home library for years. Such friendly staff and the little craft kits available for kids make my 8yo super happy. Unfortunately, we recently moved, so it's not our go to location anymore.

Yes, there are tables available throughout the library any time we are open. You may also reserve a study room for up to two hours on our website.
I take my lil sis all the time. Its small but they got plenty of books for little ones to read and enjoy.
Yes, lots of libraries in Michigan are interconnected in a main system. Plus, I can use my Madison heights card at the Royal oak library.
Search up Madison Heights Library on Google. Then tap/click on Using the Library (is is on the left of the page, towards the bottom of the menu bar). Next, you tap/click on Your Library Account (now on the main area towards the bottom of the optians) and enter your library card number and pin. Lastly, tap/click on View Loans. Now all you have to do is click/tap on Renew Loan. It took me a while to find that out.
