The Hill County Southbound Safety Rest Area is a great place to take a break. The restrooms are clean, and there are vending machines inside. The picnic tables are great.

9ne of my favorite places to stop when driving through Texas. Lots of parking, bathrooms and places to stretch or take a walk.

My favorite place to stop and use facilities. They are always clean and the area to walk the dog and stretch your legs never disappoints. Nice to see they take tremendous pride in this facility! Machines are always stocked up and the grounds are always clean. Would be nice to see the grass off the sidewalks but maybe when I was walking they just hadn’t gotten to it yet. They have plentiful seating in the shade and there always seems to be a breeze!!

There is a little office part in the main building. I'm sure it would be there if anyone found it.

Some of these rest areas are not open 24 hours. The troopers and sheriff's departments do drive through there and check the vehicles.
