We Love Shelby Health and Rehabilitation Center. Everyone was so Great at Taking Care of my Dad. I have to give Kyle all the Credit on helping my Dad to walk and gain his strength back. After leaving the Center, Kyle came to their House for In -home Therapy. He is the Most Helpful& Knowledgeable person, besides being so Caring. We Love Kyle and would Recommend him to Anyone!! If you don't care if your loved one survives their visit, then this is the place to send them to. All joking aside, my mom was here after being in the hospital. Her care during her stay was less than great. One evening I called to check on her with no answer. I called again the next morning and she answered telling me she was very sick. I tried calling the facility but they ignored my calls. I ended up driving there myself to find my mom in such bad condition. I had to call 911 and she went to the hospital where she had a severe case of sepsis. When we arrived at the hospital they took her to the resuscitation area/critical care and she went to the icu from there. She almost didn't make it! When she was sick the staff didn't call me to tell me or even call a doctor. They just gave her a puke bucket and left her there to die! My heart aches for the elderly who don't have advocates and are left in their rooms in this condition. It's heartbreaking.

Michele Harding one of the Recreational Therapist is Amazing! She wants the very best for all the patients there and will go above and beyond every time she is there. Xavier one of the CENA’s is exceptional as well! He is taking care of my father like his own! Gives me piece of mind everyyime he is there to care for my Dad. As far as the facility. His room smelled like Urine and the carpet is nasty… been asking for it to be cleaned for days…. Febreze barely makes a dent in the odor. Can’t understand why the floors are not tile or laminate…. Very poor choice not to update facility especially with all the viruses going around these days..
