Sad to see how dangerous the CtA has become. Regularly seems like people are burglarized, assaulted or worse near this station especially late at night. They seems to function as tilling homeless shelters in the morning with most seats filled by stretched out unsheltered people passed out. Then there is the wanton drug use i was exposed to daily that occurred unchecked by any authority. I used to take the EL daily to work. Now i drive. I dint think the risk to my safety is worth the benefits of public transit. Maybe one day i will be back but things need to change dramatically first.
