My first visit to HEB in Abilene. Overwhelming comes to mind. We ONLY spent $250 but it could have been much, much worse. Having just arrived from California, I have never seen anything like this before. California has Gelsons, Pavilions, etc but none compare to the selection at HEB. The prices are competitive and the staff is friendly and attentive. It takes us 45 minutes to drive to HEB Abilene. No big deal for us!!!

This is an awesome grocery store! The produce looked fresh, the meat market was full with lots to choose from and the barkers had many delicious treats! The prices were reasonable for the inflated times we are experiencing now. I will definitely use H.E.B as my new go to store!!

H‑E‑B in Abilene is a big store. You can find pretty much any of the basic groceries most people need. The produce, seafood and meat session is well stocked and has lots of variety. Their prepared food is delicious. The place can be very crowded at times so be prepared for traffic jams inside the store unless you go during a slower time of day. If I need just a few items I will head to another store so I don’t have to fight the crowd.

When you are ready to check out, the cashier and sacker will always be discussing their personal problems and be too busy to even acknowledge the customer. Then they never say "Thank you" at the end of the transaction. The customer is made to feel like they are a bother or that they are interrupting something more important. I can shop somewhere else where they are happy to have customers.

Wear a mask and use good judgement. Protect your self and others to by wearing mask.
I have never had it be longer than 5 minutes. They get it out pretty fast.
Yes they had the deli and they have the butcher area they have all kinds of different areas and pre-makes that are homemade or frozen or things you can get to make homemade food all kinds of sorts
Am not sure.
H-E-B sources fresh and frozen meats, including Beef, Lamb, Bison, Pork, and Poultry, from meat processors across the USA; however, a large majority of our products are sourced from Texas suppliers/ranchers/farmers. A very small amount of product is sourced from Canada and Mexico, and will be labeled on each package with the correct country of origin.
No sure

You might want to call the store. Maybe they can offer you another bag of ice
Yes
I think it's 6 or 7 pm.
Go to www.heb.com Place your order there.
No
Search for this location on the app. If it doesn't appear, check back in a few weeks. I believe the Go App will eventually be used at all stores. Hope that helps!
Order your items online, pay the delivery fee (~$5.99), and enter delivery details.
They have a website that shows all sales
This would be something you would have to go into the store to check on
You can buy one new. Or exchange for one.
The 6 packs are 16.9 oz and cost $3.77/6-pk. They sell the 20 oz. as singles for $ 1.87/ea.
Depends on the brand and whether you buy frozen pizza or pizza from the Cafe near the produce section. So probably between $5.00 - $15.00.
They do have them in season. I was there on 2-6-18 and they had fresh oysters.
