New structure, so everything was in good şhape and clean. Rooms were clean as was the lobby and breakfast area. I really appreciated the desk and tables in the rooms that were wired to power your electronics, with USB sockets or a standard 120v outlet. The blind could be opened with a privacy sheer still in place, or opened. There seemed to be a lot of attention to detail to make the stay pleasurable.

Clay Falls

One of the best Holiday Inn Hotels I've ever stayed in. My wife, daughter and I stayed here for one night on our long road trip home from skiing in Colorado back home to Central Texas in February. The front desk folks were great taking a last minute reservation over the phone while we were passing through Amarillo. Our room was more spacious than I expected and reasonably priced. The breakfast the next morning was excellent too. The hotel was very clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we happened to need to stop in Vernon.

Never seen an Automatic pancake machine! This Hotel was top notch! Breakfast was A-1! Very clean Hotel Room. Amenities very nice! I was in Vernon on business with Pearson Livestock Equipment. Got a discount for mentioning that. Very nice front desk lady. Didn't know Vernon was the birthplace of Roy Orbison...til I was leaving and saw the mural on a downtown wall!
