I don't think that they can do any work while you wait there but you wait there but if you tell them you need it in quite a hurry they might rush it a little but I love these people they are so perfectionists
At DGJ our staff and customer safety comes first. We operate in accordance with Covid safety practices instituted by Illinois & the CDC. Our staff are masked up at all times, we sanitize the public areas regularly, social distance, and have sanitizer for public use. Hi Nicki, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately cuckoo clocks are not something we are well versed in. It may have to be opened up and a clockmaker would have to take a look to find that information. Some antique stores in the area may have more resources as well. Hope that's helps.
Hi Mike, Thanks for the inquiry. Precious metals (like silver) can be plated with gold over it. Life spans of plating varies, due to wear. We can likely plate the item in gold if it's a good candidate, but we will need to see the piece first before we can make the determination. Hope that helped.
Yes, we change watch batteries in-house. All watches can be serviced and replaced by ourselves and our watchmaker, including the more rare batteries (capacitors, rechargable, and eco-drive). Apologies for the late reply, we are just seeing the notification now.
