Very knowledgeable and friendly. The beginning bee keeping workshop was just what I needed to get started keeping my own bees.

Hi does u company help residents remove beehives because I seem to have a small hive outside my basement window?

Hi, Thanks for asking. You have a wasp nest. One way to tell is that the nest is papery looking. Honeybees don't make nests in the open. If the wasps aren't disturbing anyone you can leave it until Winter and remove it then. If they are aggressive you may want to call an exterminator.

Hello! I just found out last night that anti-bacterial properties in honey can come from hydrogen peroxide. Can you tell me more about if this exists in your honey please? Thanks!

Hi Shannon, While there is some hydrogen peroxide in all raw honeys, the main reason honey is considered antibacterial is because of its low moisture content and resulting viscosity. Basically, it's too thick for anything to grow in it. That is what makes honey a safe food that never goes bad.

do you sell bees? if so how much do they cost?
