Calumet city police department is a Big Joke...so very rude..My car was stolen.i got a phone call stating it was found. Went in to get information on where I came Locate my vehicle. and was treated as if I did the crime.i live in this city..we need better. service..Its ridiculous

Called because I was locked out of my house, accidently called the wrong Calumet County (I’m in WI), the responder was very short, rude and basically yelled at me, told me to call 911 and hung up on me. I know I made an honest mistake, but that is no way to treat someone calling for help, from the Police none the less. Glad I don’t live in this county in Illinois, I wouldn’t feel very safe this this level of respect and lack of empathy.

I’m just praying that missing Charles Thompson 73 is ok.I just tried to contact this location immediately to give information and was hung up on twice. When I saw the missing person article I immediately called to give information. This is the worst dispatch experience. Unbelievable. If the call was dropped there was absolutely no attempt for a call back. Family should have requested to put a better number in to call with information 🤦🏾‍♀️. People are trying to help. But not the calumet city police, sad
