My wife and I had an incident where someone had broke the key lock on our mailbox. I called the USPS and spoke to both Lori and Shannon regarding what steps to take to get the lock fixed. I was advised by Shannon to go to our main post office with my drivers license which matches my home address to speak with someone to fix the lock. I doing so I spoke to Scott at the Main Post Office, supposedly he was in charge. And without even listening to what I had to say he told me I would have to pay $40 up front to get the lock fixed. He didn’t want to see pictures of the damage or hear what I had to say. I told him I wanted to file a report with them. Scott told me to call our local police department. I told him I would just pay it then so we could get our mail. When I went back to the window to pay I gave the girl my drivers license and she told me that I had to show her mail with my address on it. I told her I was told by Shannon at the US Postal Inspectors service told me all I needed was my Drivers License she told me no. So I walked out and called the US Postal Inspection Service back and spoke to Lori, in which she helped me and put in the work order for our lock to be fixed. She also told me that my drivers license is sufficient proof and that I do not need to pay $40. So Scott, Looks like you nor anyone else will be getting our $40 and putting it in your pocket. And furthermore we filed a complaint with the Head Post Master for Yuma. I’m sure he will love to hear what is going on at your facility

I would give a zero; they don't redeliver when they say. Now I am going out of town and my tool for work is getting returned to sender- thanks a lot... 2nd time this has happened with them. I have also wasted extra gas going to the place of delivery on a redelivery and they didn't even deliver....I waited hours. Plus the post lady keeps walking through my grass instead of up the driveway! Can we get some competence here? I am typically nice, but I am tired of these postal workers! Please have quality control and accountability in workmanship, please.

I really don't see the point of writing a review for the post office. Not that anything will change... Anyway, went on a Sarurday and not very well stocked. One, ONE, person on the counter for the massive line right on opening. It was horrible. The lady was alright. However, not surprised. Never expect anything better from this place. Would rather go to UPS or FedEx, but unfortunately had to come to USPS.

Employees do not show respect for the line. I have been waiting in this line that wraps around the store for about 1hr, and they are helping people who came in after me. I have people waiting in the car and this is very inconvenient.

The sooner the better.
Yes they do, they did for me 😊
I believe they accept walk ins before 2pm and require appt. after 2pm to keep those with an appt. from having to wait for those that do not have one.
Cash or debit card.
Yes
It can be up to 5 working days depending at what time the letter left sector area.
$1000's and it wont even get close to Africa. End up somewhere in Mexico.
Rat Galvan thanks for that, I really didn't know. The problem is I already have talked to them and they said there was nothing they could do..I ordered 2 separate packages from the same store and they only delivered one which I find that incredible dumb..
No, all government affiliated offices are closed today
You can do it online, I don't think by phone though
Hopefully they will close forever. Total joke place.
9-430 weekdays, 10-3 Saturday
Probably not. The postal system is federally regulated. Could be considered identity theft.
Yes, I've done it many times when we visit here.
USPS is like the middlemen between citizens and the US DEPARTMENT OF STATE which issues passports. Instead of waiting for an answer on this page, you could save time by checking the US State Department website for current processing times. At this time, it could take 6 weeks for standard processing and 3 weeks for expedited processing at an additional charge of $60. This time and the fees are subject to change, so it's best to visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/processing-times.html
Outrageous.
All passports are through the U.S. State Department. The USPS just provides the paperwork and pictures. Check the State Department website for information. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
should be from 85 cents to 5 dollars depending on the postcard
$100 and it with be sent to China instead. Your screwed.
It should be on your receipt if you sent it. If you ordered something then the sender has it.
You all ready have to have them 2 off them .
Because customers service is first when you have 20 to 50 in line then see if you have time to answer a phone.
