This is such a great place. It's disheartening that so many people are surrendering their pets, but at least we have this in Visalia. I make afghans in different sizes as they are needed. I encourage everyone to support Valley Oak SPCA in any way possible. 🐶🐱

Everyone is there is very friendly and helpful there and they take great care of the dogs

Hi Domanick , the adoption price depends on the age of the dog you're interested in. After submitting an adoption application you'll be able to make an appointment to interact with dog(s) you have listed on application. It's a pretty easy process .
Please reach out to me on Facebook. My name is Nathan and I can help you get connected.
I was 16 when I volunteered hope that helped
We are open Thurs. Fri Sat Sun Mon 12:00 to 5:00.
right now everything is full even animal control won't take them. I've been instructed to just leave them where you found them.
No,I don't. I have cats. Lol
Yes you can, just depends on if they have room...If they have room for you to surrender 1 or more cats to the SPCA shelter, there is a surrendering fee.
$75 each I believe
Pretty sure you can call and "borrow" traps and bring them in as strays and they will spay and neuter them. Pretty sure the get released afterwards. I'd call or reach out via Facebook messenger
Please message on Facebook and hopefully someone can help you out.
What town do you live in?
Sorry for delayed reply , Notification just came through. Did you find help?
Female cats are $80 visit vospca.org for more info.
Hello, someone will be in touch.
SPCA does at the pet shelter.
I believe they can you can call and ask them also.
Yes, it's the season.
Dont remember the price on different fees. But we got our dog for 200. Best 200 i have ever spent. Hope that info helps
They do - call them first to see how many & set up an appointment to see them; they had four when I went this weekend
Non profit spay and neuter clinic porterville does it pretty often u can follow there page on facebook for more info
We gave them some extra cash when we adopted a puppy. But we didn't ask for a receipt so couldn't say if they would provide one if you needed.
Prices very between ages from kittens, adults and seniors. (Kittens being the most expensive) fill out a two page application.
Easiest way is to go in, find the dog, fill out a simple app and pay the fee. I adopted a cat from there, very easy to do.
You have to call and see if they have people available to foster them
You would have to contact them but I believe they would love the help
I believe it's $25-30
I think they're closed right now. If you can keep them until the morning, call animal control. They will take them to the Animal Care Center in Visalia
Dog was picked up it would not be by the SPCA it would be by the city of Visalia you would have to go out to the shelter and look and see if your animal is in their possession
They don't take "strays" . Owner surrender and taking dogs from shelters is what they help with , usually. You could call the office and ask to make an appointment for owner surrender , yes there's a fee.
They do take strays you will have to either catch it in a trap or transport it in a carrier though
Yes, the Valley Oak SPCA is a no kill shelter.
Yes, there are puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats Available for Adoption.
Yes they do but they are very swamped with calls leave az message thy hey all get written down and eventually returned
Can I see your pets for adoption please I like to see the pets for adoption
Either here or the Visalia Animal Care Center. Your best bet is to call animal control and they can take it for you. They're both no kill shelters
That, I couldn't tell you. You'd have to call them. Sorry.
Yes the Valley Oaks SPCA is a no kill shelter and are located in Visalia off of Plaza Drive ana Hwy 198, just behind or next to the BMW Dealership.
Yes. 12pm-5pm
Number 1, I hope they have room to take her. 2, I believe they make sure she would go to the best home possible.
Spca will take it in without a fee as Long as u tell them u found it
I know they used to. But thats been years ago.
Attempt to call the VOSPCA before you just show up. It is sometimes difficult to reach them by phone. My understanding is that there is a fee to surrender animals at VOSPCA. LAST NUMBER I have for them is 651-1111. They are open Wed - Sun. You also might want to call City of Visalia Animal Care Center at 713-4700. They are located in a beautiful new building out where the old SPCA used to be. They are open Wed- Fri 12-6 and Sat&Sun 12-5. We have been dealing with both businesses to attempt to get the ferrel cat problem under control in our neighborhood / and get kittens accepted. So far we have not been successful .....but we keep trying. However, you may have better luck. Wishing you success .
Call them. They have a variety of animals and dogs, even pure breeds. Also, contact Gabby's Animal Rescue. 😊🐾🐶❤
Sorry not aware of this cost, you could call them and ask for information
If you post a picture and msg stating that you need to find a good home for the kitten, with a small rehoming fee, that may help. There are many sites on fb; Foster Fur Bottle Babies, lost and found pets of Tulare county among others. Hope this helps.
Not associated with ASPCA . However, in the old ASPCA location, you will find the local animal control. They will not remove them because they are annoying .....but will rent you a trap that you can catch annoying cats with ....and then you can turn the cats into Animal Control. However, we found you can usually catch only one cat in a trap at a time because their weight triggers the cage door to shut & cats will rarely enter together. Harbor Freight sells the cages for $25 and you would be able to catch and turn the cats in as you are able to catch them.
Sorry, do not know.
Yes. If no one adopts the animal after an extended period, our SPCA will arrange to send that animal to another No Kill SPCA in hopes that it may be adopted. There was an article in the Visalia Times Delta regarding this issue.
I'm not sure about that Never Had To Do That
Set out a cage that has a one way opening. Put bate like a can of cat food.

Have u recently had a rottweiler 2 years old taken there.
