I wanted to barrow $20,000 to pay the remaining balance on a house we bought that’s with the payment of $450,000. I was denied the loan because my debt to income was to high. I only have 1 credit card and that’s all. I just paid off a $123,000 on house I sold in Kansas. I’m a widow I built this house on my own. Never in my life time have I ever defaulted on a loan or ever been late with my payments or a mortgage payment. I have financed 2 brand new trucks, 1 RV. Monday morning I will be waiting at their front door step to close my accounts. Obviously they don’t need by business. Can’t get a mortgage for $20,000 so it had to be a personal loan. They wanted a co-signer never in my life has this ever been required.

i dunno you guys, airport bank friends are always super nice and do me a good job, even though sometimes it takes a while. have you perhaps consodered that this is one of the smallest and also busiest sccu branches in town, or that the drive through tellers are not exclusively servicing drive thru customers? perhaps they're short staffed, or a grandma is bringing in her loose pennies. calm down. a++ to this branch 🖕

SCCU has terrible customer service! I applied for a HELOC and was told no problem it will be done in 3 weeks by Tom. Sarah Rockwell returns exactly NO phone calls or emails and it is 10 percent returns in the entire department. The kicker is that after 3 months I finally get through to her assistant and she tells me that my HELOC was automatically declined 3 weeks ago due to lack of documentation provided by me.... I can't even talk to them... but really not even an email to tell me that you did not approve me? Donna made it sound like this is standard operating procedure there and made sure that I knew that there were only a couple of underwriters and 465 current applicants so you that is how it is. Well if I had known before I could have applied with someone else, and if I knew 3 weeks ago I could have started that process 3 weeks ago. Oh well, as Donna suggested... just apply again. Are you kidding me.

Of all the SCCU I've been to this is absolutely the worst. Idk about going into the bank as I've not done that so I can't comment there but the drive through is horrendous. No one there? Might as well still shut your car off and stop wasting gas. Not to mention they never ask you what you want. Withdraw? Here's the bills we thought you'd want. God I need to reopen my chase checking. All other branches I've been to thus far have been great. It's just unfortunate they are out of the way.
