Mucky Duck staff are extremely friendly and accommodating! This is one of the most spectacular views of the ocean in Captiva. It's a HIDDEN GEM! I am usually plant based but due to circumstances I opted for a filet. They cooked it to perfection! Lots of great seafood choices and something for everyone!

My family has come here for 30+ years. It’s my favorite restrung on the island with super fresh sea food and a great vibe! We had our best scallops on our trip here and the bisque is incredible! Highly recommend!

Great place for lunch! Outdoor & indoor seating, but preferred outside because of the views, the breeze and the atmosphere. Drinks you get yourself at the bar (there is one inside and outside), parking is limited so come early and food was good! When you have a place with such a great location, sometimes the food can be subpar but they get away with it because of where they are. This is not that place. I can only speak to the lunches, but it's always enjoyable. Yes, it is a little touristy because of its location, but not to an annoying degree like some places can get. Highly recommend this stop, it is always on our list of places to hit while we're on the islands!

My husband and I went to the Mucky Duck on our honeymoon in December of 2021 as a recommendation via my parents who also came here on their honeymoon 30 years ago. Spectacular food & stunning view. We had the BBQ Shrimp, Red Snapper special, Key Lime Pie, and the Caramel Apple cheesecake! Service was prompt, attentive, and food came quick. We LOVED this stop! If you’re going to try this place - come early to get a seat for sunset! It’s a very popular spot!

No, sorry - we are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas so that staff may enjoy those days off! :)
No first come first served great place for internment, beautiful sunset fabulous atmosphere
I recommend Jensen's on the Gulf. Lovely beach location
Yes, but one was quite aggressive and they asked them to remove the dog.
Mask insideand outside when not at your table. Take are spaced apart nicely. Try and go there for dinner and sunset 🌇. Best place for sunsets!
Closed from 3 to 5 then open for aupper..note mask required
Outside on the patio, you may have to place your order and pick it up also, not completely sure. Have fun
I don't believe it was. It was a home at that time.
Call the green flash.
Don't know but they are known for the sunset. You can order and eat until sundown and get up, leave your meal and come back after the sun sets. Awesome. I actually never order pasta in a restaurant but it looked so good when a waiter walked by that I did. It was great!
For food bar is open
In Season must get there early ,but worth it! Make a day of it go to beach for the day then eat later.
Did some more research. And, their was the was that Ft.Myers location for awhile. Evidently, due to beach erosion at Captiva in case they had to close at some point. That lot is still vacant in Ft. Myers when it was torn down. There was another restaurant called Smitty's I believe in that building before closing.
They don't take reservations! Get there early, put your name on the list, sit and enjoy a drink on the beach and they'll call you in
Not sure but it is by a great beach that isnt crowded and a good place to find shells.
I am not sure, as far as I know, there are only on the east coast of the island piers for boats and on the west coast beaches
I don't have that answer, but you could call and ask. I doubt they will tell their secrets. :-)
Awesome. Staff members make you feel so welcome. Love, love it.
Pretty sure you can long as you have pants and a shirt on it's a pretty casual place
They do not take reservations. But they have an awesome waiting area outside right on the beach
Yup
No, Captiva faired well in the storm. Some homes with wind damage, trees down. Power out, but thats normal hurricane stuff. Nothing major for the most part.
