I’ve been dining at Shakers for many years and the most important aspect is how consistently good it’s been. They offer a wide variety of options that most adults will enjoy and for the kids they have some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had, no question. It sounds like a basic thing to highlight but they really are that good

Divine. The catfish was amazing and this establishment will receive a 5-star rating for the pictured and not pictured items I tried that overshadowed anything that I had that was lackluster. The Mac and cheese left something to be desired for me but that fish was so good it wasn't a big upset. Which is shocking because Mac and cheese not being exactly what you wanted is a MAJOR upset. Which is why I even included a not perfect star item in my testimonial. The bang bang shrimp was good, the spinach dip was fantastic. Wrap around booths had enough space for all bodies sizes! Regular dining chairs were sturdy.

We hadn't visited Shakers Restaurant in a few years due to its popularity and wait time for a table. We picked today at an earlier time-5pm- which was perfect- no wait and not overly crowded. The hostess staff greated us with warm smiles and helped us find our awaiting family. Our waiter was professional, patient and very helpful. Our food was delicious and plentiful. We had the house salads, Burgers and Fries, Seafood Platters, Honey glazed Salmon , Catfish platter , Barbecue Ribs and Chicken Cordon Blu.The prices are still reasonable and competitive with other Restaurants. The atmosphere has the same welcoming feel as remembered- as was our dining experience. We will return .

We've enjoyed Shakers for over 20 years. They have good drinks, an enjoyable atmosphere, and pleasant wait-staff. The spinach dip is a must-have appetizer, the salads are fabulous, and there are more than several other dishes I would recommend. I do have to caution about the meat. Last year I ordered the Ahi tuna and sent it back twice. By the third time I had to assume this was their version of what it was supposed to look like--grey and overly seasoned on the outside and stringy-cooked on the inside. Yesterday I ordered a filet mignon. My order was wrong twice, so by the third time I just accepted it, but for a $28 filet, it didn't appear as one and I am not exaggerating that it tasted like it had been rolled in salt. We also noticed the chips with the queso were caked with pepper so it seems that someone in the kitchen is very heavy-handed with the seasoning. They do a number of things right, but if you're ordering a protein, you may want to be very specific about how you want it cooked and seasoned. I would not go back for a steak, but I'll stick to the enormous salads!
