Bernie's has been my bike shop since I was a kid and continues to serve my own children. Just bought a new bike and the customer service couldn't have been better. Eli was very helpful in explaining the new style of bikes, gears, and safety practices, and also helped get my daughter's bike ready for her college campus! A+

Brought my mom’s vintage bike here for a tune up as a gift for her birthday. They charged me $190 to replace the tires and brakes. They didn’t true the wheels, clean the bike or drivetrain. Total rip off. Edited to respond to owner: I don’t appreciate your almost entire lack of accountability. This attitude is reflected in other poor reviews you’ve been given. I brought this bike in to fix up for my mom. I asked for the $150 tune up but was told I didn’t need that. I was told the bike would be looked over and would be taken care of for my mom. I asked if the wheels would be trued and the bike frame cleaned, and the wheels polished. The attendant said yes. None of that happened. Why would anyone want to spend $190 on new tires and tubes and brakes for wobbly wheels? Come on, you’ve owned up to nothing. Never coming here again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else come here either.

I’ve used Bernie’s bicycle shop back when I was a kid and always been treat it good there, but now who ever is running it now is very rude and ignorant. I stop by there to ask questions and buy parts if they have or can get. It started with good morning can I show you something on my bike, the reply was (I don’t work outside) then I get we don’t work on electric bikes. Again I’m not asking you to work on it I need parts. It went on and on. It came down to they wouldn’t even help me at all. Never go there again and I have 3 grandkids and we all have bikes.

Back in the 80s my grandparents would buy my bikes from Bernie’s. Mostly Schwinn Bikes like the Predator, Scrambler, etc.. However, if anyone can answer this question, please…. There use to be a Bike shop south of Whitehorse Circle , 751 Hilltop Road. It’s a daycare now. I remember buying my GT Performer, Dyno , and Haro bikes there. I searched history and it said it was called Anthony’s Bicycle Trail, but I think they changed the name after I moved to Florida. Anyone know what it was called before they changed it to Anthony’s? Like East Coast Bikes or something similar. Thanks a bunch.
