I wanted to say thank you to the kind and courteous sales person (Daryl) who worked so hard to get my 85 year old mother's land line box working. We had spent hours on the phone with Verizon tech support but they could not get the phone system activated. It gives me piece of mind knowing my mother has her phone again in case of emergencies. He was also very helpful to a few other customers that came in with cell phone technical issues and took the time to show them what they were doing wrong. He was very knowledgeable on various models and issues.

I would not have given ANY stars if that was an option!!! I went to the Downingtown PA Verizon store today to upgrade my phone. When I arrived there were two employees in the store. There was another customer who left soon after I arrived, leaving me as the only customer with TWO employees. The one employee told me that they only see customers by appointment and offered me an appointment in a week or so. He was quite uninterested in my business, even though there was no one else there to wait on at the time. I left there and went to an independently owned Verizon store in the Lionvile Shopping Center in Exton PA where I received excellent service. While in the Exton store, I told the representative of my earlier experience. There was another woman in the store and she said she experienced the same treatment at the Downingtown store. Neither she, or I will EVER return to the Downingtown Verizon store.

I was very disappointed in my experience, especially looking at the other reviews. I called this store several times over a week and left multiple messages as I was unable to physically get there. No one reached back to me. I eventually got someone to answer who told me that they were busy with another customer. I asked if I could please leave my information so I can be contacted back, and he declined just saying to call back later, which I did with no answer. Retail customer service needs to extend beyond just in store experiences. Ended up upgrading all of my lines at a 3rd party Verizon store in Malvern and received incredible customer service.
