very bad customer service. not willing to work with anyone such as students, etc. I don't they are a good supplier. Students or anyone that searching for future supplier; customer service reps will not willing to help saying we have to be members or clients in order to get help not thinking that we might be their potential clients. Most important, not giving back the community. Think twice before becoming their clients.

Appointment was at 4pm and I arrived at 1:30. They gave me door. At 5:30 I went to see what’s going cause they still didn’t unload me and I found out that the prior shift left for the day not even informing the second shift about me. Lost my day here cause I was suppose to be picking up my second load at about 15miles away at 6pm. It’s now 6:45 and I’m still here.. for sure not coming back here anymore.

Is there on site parking for early commers

Desi Slayer | Oct 25, 2021
Benjamin Shirk | Oct 25, 2021

There's usually a good amount of parking for trucks arriving before open of business by the receiving area. There are also visitor parking spots in front of the main entrance for customers arriving early for pickups.

Where can I get tour products. I purchased pickle relish when I was visiting family in North Carolina. I believe the vegetable stand was in Virginia. Relish very good

Call in and talk to a salesperson. We can ship items. There may be a minimum order. I am a driver, not aware of all the details

I'm delivering a load here. Is the "main" entrance used for trucks or do we enter from the side road?

Michael M | Oct 25, 2021
Benjamin Shirk | Oct 25, 2021

You can use either one. If entering from the side, make a left in the parking lot intersection. If using the main entrance, proceed straight. If coming from 78, the side road may be easier because of the better view of traffic ahead while crossing the oncoming lane. Source: I work here

why do you put barley in your cereals that don't normally have it like corn flakes and crisp rice these are normally gluten free grains and do not have barley /gluten in them, would u be willing to consider making gluten free cereals?

Lisa Millett | Oct 25, 2020
Dutch Valley Food Distributors | Oct 25, 2020

Thank you for reaching out about our products. We appreciate you taking the time to communicate with us. We believe you may be referring to the Hospitality Brand of cereals we offer, which are manufactured by Gilster Mary Lee. They utilize Malt Extract in quite a few cereals, which prevents them from being Gluten Free. While we do stock quite a few gluten free products, we do not currently carry any cold cereals that are gluten free. We appreciate your suggestion and will consider adding to our future product offerings.

How long are spices good for?

Margaret Wilson | Oct 26, 2018
Kristen Mills-Brolinski | Oct 26, 2018

Depends on how they're stored. Kept out of heat and moisture (not near your stove or fridge) and out of light (not on the windowsill), they should last at least 6 months. Give your spices a test before using- shake it up, if there's little scent, time to go! You can date your spices when you buy them and check them when you change your clocks (and test your smoke alarm batteries!). Kristen from Spice Harbor.
