There was a good selection of surprisingly fresh local art. The director was lovely and spent a long time telling me about the different artists represented there. The gallery itself is beautiful and feels like a big city space. A very positive experience.

Congratulations on completing your eagle sculpture--it's always a good feeling when you know an artwork is finished and ready for an audience! Thank you, also, for reaching out to 20 North Gallery; however, we do not appraise or value artwork (unless it is by one of the legacy artists whose estates we represent). Pricing your work can be a daunting task that is constantly evolving as your art and the market changes. My recommendation is to research the prices of other artworks of similar size, subjects, complexity and media as your own--and to factor in the career stages (emerging or established) of the other sculptors and yourself. We can also highly recommend visiting the ProResources page of the website for Toledo Federation of Art Societies (of which 20 North Gallery is a member) to read their suggestions: https://www.tfas100.org/pro-documents Additionally, TFAS conducts monthly workshops and panel discussions at their members meetings, which are open to the public by request.
No, I am sorry, but we do not offer media-specific classes at 20 North Gallery. We are purely an exhibition facility and have no studio space at our venue (although we do occasionally host lectures and master classes/workshops). But we can highly recommend the blacksmithing and metalsmithing classes offered by the Toledo Museum of Art! What a great painting--one of his greatest! We weren't aware of Wil Clay having made limited edition prints of that work--unfortunately we cannot give a value on your print, as we are not the Wil Clay estate representatives. But Wil was a dear friend of all of us at 20 North Gallery--we do miss him. I am sure agree with us that his talent was extraordinary!
