Budget Car Rental

Had a tough time with budget this go around. We waited at an empty desk for 45 min awaiting someone to help us. When we did get help we were given a truck with plastic protective plate hanging almost to the ground underneaththe enginr. We walked back in and notified them, we were told they would mark it and carried on. We then see the key has a rent ASAP sticker on it. Unfortunately once we started driving realized that the heater was stuck in the on postion. We had to call customer service and ask for a new car. This was after we had left the area and on the road. It was a chilly 15 degrees that morning so it took about 20 min to notice the heat issue. Fort Worth budget rental was awesome and hooked us up with a new rental. They deserve a 5 star themselves. That guy hussled and got us a new car quickly. Unfortunately the overall experience with budget was not good.

I wish I would had read these reviews before I committed to a rental from these Yahoos! I got to the DFW airport and the Budget counter was closed and there was a sign to go over to Avis counter. I waited 1 hour and a half just to get my rental. They gave me a Toyota Corolla that was dirty, had the front part of the dash coming apart and stains all over the seat. I had to get going bc I had plans but called the Budget location at Wichita Falls, TX and they were going to give me another car with no charge. Then when I got there to exchange it this manager named Michelle said she would charge me $9 more a day! I had the rental for a week so that was out of my price range. So i was going to turn in the car early and they wouldn't give me a rebate! Worst car rental experience EVER!!!!

Very rude customer service. I have rented from a couple of budget before, and ALWAYS when I return my car it's not filled, I would be charged the airport gas, and the airport tax. This budget is different, they charged me the 9.99 PER GALLON, plus tax. I explained that this has never happened to me before and if there was anything I can do, basically she told me there was absolutely nothing to do. Why is it that this location adheres to this policy when other locations do not? I also told her that this was never mentioned to me, but she was not listening. So much attitude given. Zero customer service.

Car was dirty. Waited 15 minutes for desk person. Finally found him in restroom on his phone. Was also advised of the e-toll tag on the car so I made sure to avoid all toll roads unless it was absolutely necessary. In that case I paid all tolls by cash. 2 weeks later yes two weeks later they charged my credit card $17.55 for a $1.50 toll fee. The rest of the money was for the convenience fee of which I didn't need because I paid the God damn toll. I will never ever use Budget Rent-A-Car again
