My mom just got an emergency button from MedScope. You have to press and hold the button for it to call. We had machines answer and ask if we needed help. Saying no had it hang up. Yes went to a person. Screaming "HELP!" had it say oh, so you don't need help? Same with saying nothing. If someone is seriously injured they may not think to explicitly say 'Yes'. If they're extremely injured, they may not be able to say anything at all. Why does it not a dial a live agent right away? And to top it all off, the volume is barely audible for me, a healthy 30 year-old, and I had to place it near my ear to clearly make things out. I would be shocked if people haven't died depending on this piece of absolute garbage.

I've been approved thru my insurance since last year and have never received this product or ever been contacted by them even tho my insurance has been paying them....I contacted my insurance and a Marilyn with medscope texted my daughter saying they've been trying to reach me..never have I been contacted by her or this company..now looking at their ratings I think it's an insurance scam

They issued a refund check for $240 WHICH BOUNCED. They were always slow to respond so I canceled them. Now I will not refer a company like this.

Woke up to red/blue flashing lights on monitor .button wasn't allowing speaking to operator who had to call me on cell phone .She forwarded me to tech specialist who had me go thru a few "push this" "turn thats" then instruction was "TURN IT OFF ILL CALL YOU RIGHT BACK ILL CHECK SOMETHING" An hour later with no call back I turned unit back on and it rebooted itself (had a power outage day before ) .Finally tech called back 6hrs later after I left voice mail of pending review of company .He Got Busy he said SORRY ..Guys This isn't cold French fries from McD's this is a Medical alert company .Imagine my obituary He died pushing a button to nowhere the Support was too busy . I see a attitude in a responce to another review Hey go somewhere else if you don't like it .Guess it the complaint wasn't from any of their family members or was it ?
