Our favorite place to go for a quick hike that feels mostly removed from the suburbs. Beautiful nature, wildlife, and well maintained trails.

Great place for kids to catch crawdads, frogs, and minnows, as well as play in the creek and cool off on a hot summer day.

Nice hike trail with a lot of wildlife and fruit trees. Lots of apple, crabapple, and hawthorns. It is a great crawfish catch and release location.

Yes
Kind of. The path will get you pretty close to a point where it turns into neighborhood side roads but then you hop back on after a few blocks and you are in the official Cherry Creek state park.
I haven't seen any in the river but there are ponds where I have seen people pull out catfish.
Yes, with a license
No .... No cogars or mountain lions. Just ducks , geese and your frequent brown hawk hunting the ducks and geese. Great place for a midday walk!
