This company spent time going through a quote from another company and verifying the cost was fair. They confirmed that the price was fair and let me know even though they wouldn’t get the business. That was huge for me. It shows integrity and honesty. I will definitely use them in the future.

These guys were fast and friendly! They were able to come out same day and save us during a really hot day at my dental practice. Wouldn't use anyone else but them!

Questions & Answers

Has anyone had central air installed replacing a swamp cooler? Would you mind letting me know your cost and recommendations please?

Kelli, We take off swamp coolers all the time and add central air. Unfortunately we can’t give you a price without coming out to your home to make sure the furnace is ac Compatible. Also looking at duct work and making sure you have enough power in the home to handle central air. We are more than happy to set some thing up this coming week to come out and look things over and discuss it.

How much money will I save by switching to a high efficiency unit?

We'll be able to give you a more accurate savings estimate when we visit your home or place of business. There are some variables, but typically, older furnaces have an efficiency rating of 65% or less. As a result, your savings could be 25% or more. Sometimes, a minor repair is all you needed to regain both comfort and efficiency.

How often should I have my heating equipment serviced?

Salt Lake heating equipment should be serviced every year. The best scenario is to have the heating system checked in the Fall.

What type of filter should I use?

CTR Heating and Air Conditioning | Oct 26, 2019

Standard filters work to keep your system and its duct work clean, but they don’t really improve indoor air quality. Upgrading to a pleated media filter will remove everything from insecticide dust to airborne viruses from the filtered air. A media filter in a home in the Salt Lake Valley can have a life exceeding two months. Lastly, always choose a filter that matches your blower’s capacity.
