Came in to volunteer & earn a bike. Was told that no one was available to help me earn a bike. I would have swept floors for a bike! For Pete's sake . . .

Went for new tires/wheels and a tune up for my dad's old Belle Air Walmart or Meijer bike. They took great care of it for me. Thanks Toledo Bikes!

They are normally open and busy on sundays. We just left also. This is rare we will be back tomorrow hope you do to.
When I was there they said they had a specialized mechanic that worked there during the weeks. So I would say that they will be able to help you if you take your bike there.
Yes.
We checked the hours on Google before going on a Sunday at 4. They were so friendly and helpful I highly recommend.
Members of this co-op are very knowledgeable and eager to assist. If they don't have the components, they provide you with options. Although they do repairs, they also assist others with in house DIY.
New cables are $2 each.
Yes they charge to fix bikes but they also offer a program where u can work to pay off repairs
We have a program where volunteers can earn a bicycle. More information is available at https://www.toledobikes.org/volunteer.html
Winter Hours are currently 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Eric Thomas: is Toledo bike's where someone/people can volunteer hours to earn a bike???
There are also as is bikes if people are looking for a project. They have tools, stands, and assistance for working on bikes.
Because of Toledo Bikes nonprofit status they can't buy or trade bikes. Play It Again sports buys some, but it's best to call them first.
It depends on if you want new or used. New ones can possibly be ordered, I'm not sure... if so, I'm sure it depends on what style you're looking for (aluminum, steel, etc). Typically it's $8 for a used rim, front or back.
