Super quiet and super clean water. The only trash out there happens to be the trashy people who can't clean up after themselves

One of the best campgrounds in NM. Flushable toilets.

Even though open and poor vegetation, still excellent! Variety of spaces from small to supersized, electric and water, damp station just few feet away from the entrance. Excellent host. Fantastic viewes. Lots of space around and between sites. Great for dogs. Lake is not clear, like colorado waters, still good. One little downside- watch for the road that leads to park, once u off highway ,-potholes everywhere, if heavy, drive 25-30mls/h, to have time to react. They r circled with spraypaint, but paint wore out.

Nice lake to relax and fish when you can't afford to go very far. Bathrooms need work, the only nicer one is by the boat ramp the rest don't have locks and are filled with wasps. Also would be nice if the gate opened before 8 a.m. for better fishing.

The campground is currently in a Stage 2 fire restriction. That means no wood fires and no charcoal fires. For more information, please call 505-465-0307. We mirror the Forest Service requirements here. You can always check with Santa Fe Natuonal Foret District to see what their restrictions are at any time. Enjoy!
Tetilla Peak Campground is closed now but it opens from April 15th to October 15th. Cochiti Campground on the other side of the lake is currently open and is first come first serve basis.
