One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Everything was exquisite, from the appetizers to the dessert. I started with the miso soup, which was richly flavored without being heavy, and the wagyu and filet mignon tartare, which was divine, a perfect balance of savory richness and tart acidity. I accompanied it with a deliciously mild and smooth nigori, which surprised me for being one of the most inexpensive sake options. My main was the chef's choice sushi platter along with my favorite nigiri sushi, unagi, and all of it was a generous portion of excellent quality, especially for a restaurant this far from the Pacific Ocean. I finished with a wonderful green tea and the house-made green tea mochi. My companion was also impressed with everything he ordered, including the cocktails. Highly recommended.

Rude manager. I had a birthday dinner here party of 6 and total was about $300 not bad. Food was good and the chef and server were great. They tried to charge me for bringing in a birthday cake of my own which I understand except they never even mentioned that it was going to be a fee I wouldn’t have minded otherwise. When I talked to the server about it he brought the manager and she came up to my table snarky and rude with an attitude telling me that it was a “steal” that she only charged me two dollars per cake slice because their cheapest dessert would’ve been eight dollars for each guest at least. And she did not want to take the fee off of my bill and I described to her that I would not have brought the cake if I knew they were going to charge me the same price i bought my cake for. I would’ve just cut it on my own at home. She didn’t apologize once and talk down to me, I ended up saying sorry only to make the tension less. Anyways money hungry manager but great food. Never coming back.
