What a cool store! I wish I'd taken pix for research! I visited with my DIL to grab a few dinner things. There isn't a lot of choice in brands, but about anything you'd need in the way of groceries, OTC meds, first aid supplies, etc the Mercantile has. Very nice people running the store & deli. I would have loved to browse longer, so I hope to go back one day.

Love this little store. We went there looking for fresh eggs and the lady there (doesn’t sell them) but she had just bought some from her friend and gave me 6 of them. I’ve never had fresh eggs until that day. It was my husband’s and my honeymoon week in 2007 and I cooked a great breakfast for us that morning . They have a great selection of food too. Awesome people!! Awesome little store. ♥️

Always friendly helpful staff, good variety of groceries, has fresh meat market..steaks etc. are great quality (a little more expensive than the average bigger stores) ..baked local goods..a little bit of everything. Great place to shop in Leakey!
