Very clean restrooms. There's a changing table to help with the wee ones. And a helpful map to guide you on your journey.

One of the oldest Texas Safety & Rest Areas along the IH System. Nevertheless, the grounds and facilities are well maintained. We stop here only for a brief restroom or smoke break returning to San Antonio from Eagle Pass. Water drinking fountains are situated at front entrance to restrooms. The Medina County County Rest Area Northbound vice SB was heavily in use. Trucks and cars both share the same entry and exit roadway. We did not use any picnic pavilions or playground equipment on this trip.

We always stop here for restroom break and lunch break driving back home from traveling for awhile. It's well kept and clean
