I had a bad feeling that I should have listened to. I had a car alarm with remote start and a new stereo installed. Alarm works fine, but my car now occasionally cannot sense my key in my car. This means I cannot start my car. It has also stopped sensing the key while I was driving, but it hasn't yet caused any problems when I'm already moving. The radio is terrible. Sony XAV-AX5500. It needs an additional tuner to use Sirius XM, which I was told would not be necessary. Only one USB port works. This stereo is for beginners who don't want any customization. I literally cannot set this stereo up the way I want it because it's just not capable of customization at all. I asked about other brands, brands I actually prefer, and I was steered away from them because they're "too complicated." If I were a man, they likely would not have said the same things they did to me. The EQ is subpar. The dimmer doesn't dim enough at night, and the screen is not bright enough during the day for me to see the screen while wearing sunglasses. All my speakers cut out. While I'm moving or parked, the sound randomly disappears from various speakers. They've told me to bring it back in for repairs, but I can't keep taking time off work for this. Also, check out the pics. They didn't even reinstall my console properly. Upon further investigation, I found that they didn't use ANY form of screws or bolts to reinstall the console, which means at this point, I couldn't even put original stereo back in because it requires two screws and two volts to mount it; I found one bolt. I do want to install my original stereo until I purchase a new one, but I have to track down new hardware before I can do that.
