Without a doubt the worst golf course I have ever played in my entire life. The course has potential because the layout isn’t awful but genuinely don’t think there was a single piece of grass alive on the entire course. To charge $40 for that is almost as criminal as the $4 candy bars in the restaurant. I will not be coming back! Bathrooms were nice.

Writing this review to offset all the doofuses who pay under $50 to play 18 here and expect the conditions of Bandon Dunes. I’ve played this course the last two days. It is at par with my expectations given the price and severe drought and heat wave we’ve had in Texas this summer. You can tell they are doing the best they can by focusing their efforts on tee boxes and greens. Fairways are dry, but so is all of south central Texas. Keep in mind that well-watered lush golf courses in the middle of droughts (I.e. Talking Stick, public, Scottsdale, AZ) charge over $220. Pick your poison. So 5 stars for the exceptional and kind staff, prices meeting the expectations, and the understanding of how expensive this course would be if they drained half of Lake Travis to water it.

Played this course about a year and a half ago and it was great. This visit was horrible. I don't know how you charge people to golf on that course in the condition it is in. The greens are unplayable. I think there were 2 holes on the back 9 that were decent. The rest are all sand traps that supposed to be greens. They just spent money on new carts! Spend money on your greens and fairways! And summer is approaching so I imagine they will only be worse! It's sad because the scenery is beautiful.

I had a nice golf outing on a beautiful day. The scenery and views were great out here. Staff was friendly as well. Some of the greens were in rough shape, but other than that it was good. Would recommend to anybody looking for a casual round of 18 holes.
