It's great having a Dollar Tree down the street, but especially this one. We jokingly call it the "$1.25 Tree." There's so much selection, and plenty of items are great quality even at the exceptionally low price point. There are lots of national brand names. You can even find increasing numbers of USA-made items; I often find lots of stuff made right here in Chicagoland. It's the only place I've ever found vegan Top Ramen noodles (yes, they're delicious)! Sometimes big-brand items come in smaller sizes, but an ounce-to-ounce price comparison between Dollar Tree and the larger sizes of the same product found in other mass retailers shows Dollar Tree still comes out much more favorably for the consumer. Dollar stores are notoriously hard to keep tidy, but they do a good job here. Kelli and Emilia are managers and are very courteous and helpful. Employee Keanna can make anybody's day and I find myself hoping she'll be there when I go in - she's my Dollar Tree bestie because she's a relentless sower of good cheer.
