The park becomes like abandoned yard . These days, not many adults and kids show up there playing. The guy who works there for park ID check looks bored

Beautiful little park.. Lot of families from nearby areas visited this park with their little ones. But starting this year, they only allow village residents with a photo id to the park.. Non residents have to pay 10$s to enter the park.

The locals disagree about who should be able to use this park. Non-residents (but not residents) are expected to pay a fee for their children to enter the park even for an hour. Given the more important issues of lack of housing and homelessness, the best solution would be to close this park -- it's small and unremarkable anyway -- and build low-income housing there. Presumably the housing would generate additional tax revenue, whereas the current park drains revenue from the village, town, and county.

The mayor of this town forgets that children are children. EVERY child should be welcome in EVERY park in the US. The park itself is fine but its being closed to non residents. SMH Shame on adults who treat children that way. Floral Park does it too. I bring my grandkids and nephew. Kids are kids, and the ones I bring dont live in the town. I can see banning adults without kids presenr.

Well thanks for all the innacurate answers. Just enjoyed an afternoon there with my dog and he even made a new friend.
